Brasilia is the capital of Brazil and is known for its popular national park, Parque Nacional de Brasilia. Sao Paulo is the biggest city of South America and Rio de Janeiro is known for having one of the most famous beaches of the world Copacabana and its carnival festival. The Amazon is a gigantic system of rivers and forests, covering half of Brazil and extending into neighbouring countries. The Pantanal is a better place to see wildlife. This vast area of wetlands lies in the west of Brazil and extends into the border regions of Bolivia and Paraguay. Jericoacoara is one of the last primitive beaches which became popular among backpackers and hipper Brazilians. Interesting activities in Brazil are fishing, sailing, surfing and hiking. |
