MoneyThe currency of Great Britain is the English Pound. 1 GBP is approximately 1.57 Euro and 1.52 US Dollar. (Source: GWK 29-10-02). Cash can easily be changed at banks. MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and Visa are all widely accepted. Traveller's cheques are accepted. ATMs are very common in Great Britain. Banks are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 till 17:00 hrs.
