Luxembourg city is the capital city of Luxembourg. In this city the labyrinthine casemates are the most impressive to visitors. It was built in 1644 while the fortress was under Spanish domination. The hills around Reisdorf provide panoramic views of Germany its Eifel region. The Luxembourg Ardennes are also known as the Eisleck or Oesling. This area is the most spectacular region of Luxembourg. Winding valleys, fast-flowing rivers, verdant plateaus and towering castles combine to make the region hugely popular among visitors. Wine tasting is the an attraction of the Moselle Valley. Interesting activities in Luxembourg include walking paths, hiking trails and bicycling.
