Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Maleisia Tourism Attractions
Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia. Here, the double towered Petronas Towers skyscrapers - the tallest building in the world - dominate the skyline. Melaka is an interesting blend of Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch and British influences and is considered the most historic city of the country. The most imposing relic of the Dutch period in Melaka is the massive pink town hall, Stadthuys, built between 1641 and 1660. Tioman island boasts beautiful beaches, clear, coral-filled water, marine life, virtually unpopulated jungle highlands and crystal-clear streams. Sarawak offers areas of untouched jungle, the chance to visit Dayak tribes and a good system of national parks. Other interesting places for tourism are Penang and Malaysian Borneo. Interesting activities in Malaysia include diving, snorkelling, fishing, canoeing, turtle watching, cycling, trekking and bird-watching. |
