The capital of Portugal is Lisbon. The main attraction of Lisbon is the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos. The construction began around 1502 and was completed towards the end of the century. Most visitors are drawn to the superb beaches. The wilderness park, Parque Nacional da Peneda-Geres, has a spectacular scenery and a wide variety of flora and fauna.
