Zurich is the cultural capital of Switzerland. The city Geneva is beautifully situated next to the lake of Geneva. The city Lucerne is situated in the historic and scenic heart of what many believe to be the true Switzerland, mountains, lakes, cowbells and alpine villages. Chateau de Chillion is an historic castle right on lake Geneva and attracts more visitors than any other historic building in Switzerland. Switzerland is famous for its beautiful mountains, the Swiss alps. Because of the snow during the winter, Switzerland has a lot of winter sport facilities. The main activity in Switzerland is skiing, other interesting activities inlcude hang-gliding, hiking, water skiing, sailing, wind surfing, canoeing and sailing are possible. |
